Darci is the creator and editor of Post-Traumatically Stressed Feminist and Bible Belt Queers. She has an MA in Women’s & Gender Studies from Texas Woman’s University and a BA in Sociology from Arkansas Tech University. Her research on the “Psychological Effects of Abortions and Attitudes Towards Reproductive Rights,” co-authored by colleague Chelsea Farrar, is published in the International Journal for Humanities and Social Science, and she’s currently working on three collections, including: Been Here. Been Queer. Millennial & Gen Z Changemakers in the Margins, Bible Belt Queers Cookbook, and her first collection of poetry to be released by the end of the year. He currently sits on the steering committee for the Appalachian Studies Association and has written on choreopolitics, socially engaged art, critical animal studies, and queer ecologies. They are author of Queer and Trans Voices: Achieving Liberation Through Consistent Anti-Oppression. Jessica Cory teaches English at Western Carolina University and is a PhD student in English at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is the editor of Mountains Piled upon Mountains: Appalachian Nature Writing in the Anthropocene (WVU Press, 2019).
